Hardware Terms and Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to the delivery and supply of harware.

Billion routers and modems

PCRange, the Australian distribor for Billion products are responsible for direct delivery, pre-configuration and warranty support of all ADSL equipment.

Delivery

ADSL equipment is delivered via Australian Air Express courier. AAE have additional charges that we will pass on to you if we are charged:

  • You weren't available to sign for parcel - $10.95;
  • Redirect to different address - $15.95;
  • Return to Sender for reason of incorrect address supplied to us or you did not collect parcel from depot or post office after 7 days of card being left - $19.95.
These charges can avoided by suppying us the correct address and collecting the item. Equipment will not be left without a signature.

Warranty

We provide a 12-month warranty on all hardware. Our warranty is provided in accordance of Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth).

If as part of the standard support process, your ADSL equipment is suspected to be faulty, you will be referred to our agent PC Range for further diagnosis and replacement.

DoA Modem (within 14 days of receipt)

A Dead on Arrival (DoA) modem is deemed as: a unit that does not power up, or lights are not coming on or the unit will not get line sync after Telstra have tested and confirmed the line is not faulty. PCRange will ship a replacement modem to you with return connote on a new invoice. This means shipping both ways is free of charge to you.

If PCRange receive the modem back and it is not a DoA as stated by you, you will be charged $31.90 for shipping.

Modem fails after 14 days of receipt

You will pay for freight to PC Range and PCRange will freight back to you free of charge. We will not give credit for a faulty modem if you decide that you would like to purchase another elsewhere.

Return Procedure

You must first call Billion on 08 8186 1800 to confirm the unit is faulty. Alternatively, you can lodge an RMA request online at this website: http://www.pcrange.com.au/returns.php.

3G Equipment

Beagle performs direct delivery and warranty support for the Huawei E160e 3G modems and Huawei 5dBi antennas.

Delivery

Huawei modems and antennas are delivered via Australia Post registered post. If a package posted to you is returned for any reason (such as you specifying the wrong address or not collecting the item), then you will be liable for a $9.95 re-delivery fee.

Warranty

If as part of the standard support process, a modem is suspected to be faulty, you shall post the modem to Beagle Internet at your expense. Beagle will test the modem and then dispatch a replacement modem to you at our expense.

If a modem is faulty due to damage or misuse by you, then you are responsible for the purchase of a new modem or antenna.

If your modem is not found to be faulty, it will be returned to you with a $9.95 delivery fee.
