History

Beagle was founded in 2004 to establish a high quality, low cost dial-up Internet service provider and has since expanded the product range. A brief chronology of significant events at Beagle is as follows:

February 2004 Beagle Internet Pty Ltd is formed
July 2004 Beagle Internet completes in-house development of all billing and technical systems.
August 2004 Beagle Internet launches market leading $12.95 per month dial-up plan which meets with fantastic demand.
July 2006 Beagle Internet continues explosive growth with dial-up Internet services and launches ADSL broadband service.
March 2007 Beagle Internet moves to dedicated premises in Sydney CBD.
February 2008 Beagle Internet is recognised by the Australia bureau of Statistics as one of the fastest organically growing dial-up ISPs in Australia.
December 2008 Beagle Internet launches ADSL2+ broadband in over 1500 exchanges across Australia with immediate and significant impact.
January 2008 Beagle Internet launches a six month print advertising campaign in partnership with ACP across APC, NetGuide and PC Authority magazines.
February 2009 Beagle Internet launches 'Secure Dial-up' service which provides network based firewall and anti-virus filtering of Internet connectivity for dial-up users.
April 2009 Beagle Internet launches a TV advertising campaign across Victoria for our new ADSL2+ service.
July 2009 Beagle Internet launches 3G wireless broadband service with coverage of over 96% of Australian population.

January 2011 Beagle Internet launches PSTN home phone services and bundling with ADSL broadband.
February 2013 Beagle Internet re-brands to Beagle Telecom, re-launches website, releases new plans and mobile voice and broadband services on the Telstra 3G network.
