Q. The wireless software installation asks for an SP code. What is it?

A. The SP code is '357i4' without the quotes.

Q. How can I check how much data I have transfered?

A. Please visit www.beagle.com.au, click 'my account' and login with your 3G username and password. You will then see a 'Display Service Usage' link. Click this link to see your data downloaded, excess usage fees, etc.

Q. Does data trasferred using the back-up dialup service count towards 3G wireless usage?

A. No, data transferred using the back-up dial-up service do not contribute to your wireless usage.

Q. What level of usage can the back-up dial-up service be used?

A. The back-up dial-up service is to be used when the 3G wireless service is not connected. The usage is subject to our Acceptable Use Policy. Our Acceptable Use Policy defines acceptable use as consistent with the average of the entire usage population. This means your back-up dial-up account should generally not be used more than 10 hours per month.

Any customer found abusing the dial-up service will be charged $12.95 per month for each month used.

Q. What period is excess usage calculated?

A. Any excess usage over your transfer quota is calculated between the first and last calendar days of the month.

Q. Does Beagle Internet have a desktop Usage Meter application?

A. Beagle Internet can be used with a variety of desktop usage meters to monitor usage in real time. These usage meters are not supported officially by Beagle Internet.

  • Usage Gadget: Windows Vista and 2007 users may wish to use this gadget which can be downloaded here >>.

  • Desktop Usage Meter: Windows users may wish to use the Beagle Internet desktop usage meter developed by one of our customers. The application may be downloaded here >>.

  • Beagle Usage Monitor: Windows users may wish to use the Beagle Internet desktop usage monitor developed by one of our customers. The application requires the .Net v2.0 framework and may be downloaded here >>.

  • Firefox Plug-in: Firefox users are encouraged to use the NetUsage plug-in which is available here >>.
