The following information constitutes the settings necessary to use Beagle Internet. If you are an experienced user, these are all you need to get up and running.

Dial-up Settings

  • Dialup Number: 0198 333 743
  • Dialup Username: username@beagle.com.au
  • DNS Servers: Server Assigned
  • IP Address: Server Assigned
  • You must include the @beagle.com.au suffix to login.

Email Settings

  • Inbound Mail Server: pop3.beagle.com.au
  • Inbound Mail Username: username@beagle.com.au
  • Outbound Mail Server: smtp.beagle.com.au
  • Outbound Mail Username: username@beagle.com.au
  • You must enable SMTP Authentication for outbound email.

Usenet Settings

  • Usenet News: news.beagle.com.au
  • Usenet is available to dial-up customers only. Do not specify a username.

ADSL Settings

  • Username: username@beagle.com.au
  • DNS Servers: Server Assigned
  • IP Address: Server Assigned
  • VPI: 8
  • VCI: 35
  • Encapsulation: PPPoA LLC
  • MTU: 1492
  • Authentication: CHAP
