Our ADSL1+ service is available specifically to the small proportion of customers who may
find themselves not eligable for our ADSL2+ service due to particular issues with their
telephone line or local telephone exchange. If ADSL2+ is available on your line, you
should instead choose ADSL2+ as it is the same price.

How do our ADSL1+ Capped Download plans work?
Your ADSL modem connects at the highest speed possible
depending on your distance from the exchange and line
quality. Your service is shaped to 128kbit/s once you have
reached your monthly download quota.
ADSL1 speed estimates
The following table outlines the estimated speeds your
modem will be able to synchronise at based upon your
distance from the exchange. Your speed will vary based
upon the quality of your telephone line, your modem,
external factors such as flooding or high heat and overall
network conditions.

You must have an ADSL modem and one line filter per telephone handset
in your home.
You may bring your ADSL modem or purchase one from us. If you
purchase a modem from us, it comes pre-configured for plug-and-play
operation. Plug one end into your phone line, the other into the
network port of your computer, reboot and surf!
